The boy in seat 27a awoke with a jolt as the plane hit some mild turbulence. It took Kallen a little while to remember where he was but when he did finally remember he smiled. He was on his way to Sinnoh, where his plan would finally unfold. Kal had never had the chance to leave home, since his parents were way to worried. He tried to convince them any chance he got but so far he had never made any progress. Which is why he had to trick them.
Kal's uncle lived in Solaceon Town, Sinnoh, while Kal and his family lived in the Hoenn region. His uncle, a farmer, had invited Kal to spend two weeks helping him on his ranch and Kal's parents actually agreed to let him do it. And so, his plan took place. His parents had planned the whole trip out. First, Kal would fly by plane to Hearthome in the Sinnoh region and be met by his uncle who would take him to his home in Solaceon. Everything had been all set and the plan was so easy Kal was afraid it might not work. But it was working.
He had called his uncle just before getting on the plane and informed him that the trip was off, and he wasn't going to be there. His uncle had seemed dissapointed but when Kal told him he had become rather sick he said he understood. He felt a bit of guilt lying to the man who had such a simple, boring life, but he helped himself through it by reminding himself that his life wasn't too interesting, either. And so, everything had worked out. He was going to arrive at the airport, take a shuttle to his hotel, check in and explore the city.
"Spin." Spinda declared, teetering around on seat 27b. He was obviously enjoying the ride since a wide smile was displayed on his tan colored face. Kecleon didn't seem to be enjoying as much and Surskit had taken to her PokéBall as she was terrified of heights. Kal often thought that may be the reason she hadn't evolved yet.
"You ok, Kecleon?" Kal asked his Pokémon, who was currently a paler shade of green, strapped in tightly and looking out the window at the rolling hills and mountains below them. Kecleon looked up to Kal before looking down at his stomach and attempting to loosen the seatbelt. "Stomachache?" Kal asked. Kecleon nodded. "Ah, I see. Here, why don't you rest for a bit? When you wake up we'll be in Hearthome!" He grabbed Kecleon's PokéBall and returned the planesick Pokémon in a flash of red light.
It was only a matter of minutes before it was announced that they were beginning their descent and it was advised that all Pokémon be returned to their PokéBalls. "See ya later," Kal said to Spinda, returning him in a similar flash of red luminescence. He stowed his laptop in his carry on bag, the only bag he had taken, clipped Spinda's PokéBall to his belt and prepared to land.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Kal walked straight past the baggage claim, his only bag, a laptop case with a few extra pockets, was slung over his neck and hanging at his side. Pokémon weren't allowed to be out in the airport and they had to go through a rigorous inspection, one that had taken wa too long, just to get on the plane. Still, it was better to go through that than to have any dangerous Pokémon on board, Kal figured.
Not a single light was unlit it seemed as Kal exited the airport and got his first good look at the city. It was huge, the biggest place he'd ever been for sure. Kallen couldn't help but smile, especially when he saw all the odd Pokémon the local people carried around. There were weird blue dog things with stars on their tails walking around on leashes, unrecognizable bird Pokémon flying around and looking for food, and countless other ones that Kal couldn't even describe.
"Kecleon, you gotta see this," Kallen said, releasing the sleeping Pokémon. He decided not to release Spinda, as he would probably end up running off, and Surskit would probably be scared. Kecleon blinked the sleep off his eyes and looked around. The green Pokémon smiled and wrapped his long tail around Kallen's wrist, Kecleon's way of holding hands. The two received a few odd looks as they walked by, not many people familiar with the Kecleon species.
Kal completely forgot about the shuttle and the hotel he planned to stay at as he walked through the streets. He was too caught up in all the action going on. There were stree performers everywhere, people on cell phones and horns honking. Kecleon's grip tightened. "Ah, you don't need to be nervous, we'll be fine." Kal said, looking down at his Pokémon with a comforting smile on his teenage face. Neither Kal nor any of his Pokémon had ever been into a big city like this so they were all a little bit worried. These places had high crime rates, unlike Fallarbor. "I wish we had someone to show us the city." Kal muttered to Kecleon, still amazed by the size of this new place.

OOC: Not Kal's flight.
The feeling of slowing down and lowering awoke Jessica. Or rather, snapped her out of a dazed state. The seats were awful, at least, to her. Cairo, yet, was undisturbed from his rest. "We will be landing in Hearthome shortly. Please remain seated and fasten your seatbelts. We also require all electronic devices be turned off." A woman's voice sounded over the intercom. The words 'electronic devices' reminded Jessica of ROM, who had managed to book this flight. Had it not've been the only one available as early as they had left, Jessica would've definitely given ROM a piece of her mind. Next time, she'd at least make sure not to get coach. Sanderson sure was grateful, however. He had to fly Cairo and Jessica all the way to Saffron, which was tiring enough, and would've had to fly them out of the region had a plane flying from the south not've sparked an idea from Cairo. Jessica, feeling guilty for Sanderson's unability to fly much more, had ROM book the flight entirely with her own money... and some of her mother's. She had a feeling some flight training for Sanderson was a must.
The aeroplane jerked as it landed, speeding across the runway. This awoke Cairo, or at least he opened his eyes (Jessica was unsure at the moment whether or not he was actually asleep). "We're there?" He asked, somewhat groggily. "Mm-hmm. Hearthome City." Jessica answered. "And... sorry if Sinnoh wasn't where you were planning on. It's all I, uh, we could get." She said, again. She had been apologising for it a lot. "Really, it's fine. I saw you, well, your Porygon-Z, book the flight." He assured her. The plane had come to a stop, and the exit tunnel was being attached. "We have arrived in Hearthome City. Thank you for choosing KR Airways." The same voice said. "Yeah, and I'll never 'choose' KR Airways again..." Jessica whispered under her breath, clearly disatisfied with the service. And who could blame her? Breakfast was a ginger-snap and a soda!
Being that Cairo and Jessica came to Saffron without much besides what they already had on them, they were able to completely skip the baggage claim. Which was good, they always took forever, and the risk of your bag being taken by another (whether by accident or not) made Jessica very nervous. So, the two went directly outside. Jessica saw the many people getting various rides. This sparked her own idea.
"Heh... Should we get a ride on a shuttle? Apparently, it's free." Jessica said. Cairo seemed about ready to laugh, and pointed to a parked one, already loading passengers (some even from their flight). "Sure." As the last of the passengers boarded, the two ran by it, waving their hands. With an almost annoyed look, the driver withdrew his hand from the area of the 'close-doors' button. With a couple of 'Thanks', Cairo and Jessica found seats. "Made it." Jessica said, finding it within herself to smile. "First stop, parking lot." The man said into a radio-like device, causing both his real voice and speakers to say this. "Great. It'll be a long ride." Jessica half moaned, but was still grateful to have gotten where they had.

Kal walked around a bit, going places he saw other people going and visiting some interesting sites. Kecleon seemed to like the places as well and every now and then he'd say something that Kallen asumed was a remark of how nice this city was. "Ooh, that looks cool." Kal said as he saw a store in the distance. He was currently in the 'bad' part of the city and nobody could be seen. The few lights there was were either flickering or not lit up at all. Kecleon hesitated and Kallen felt the strain on his wrist, which Kecleon was still holding onto. "Oh, c'mon. It's just over there. We'll be fine!" Kecleon looked worried but he didn't want to disobey and slowly followed.
The store was close. As Kallen approached he could see items in the windows. There were posters, figures, plush dolls, movies, video games, and lots of other stuff that Kal had no knowledge of. "This looks so cool." He muttered to Kecleon, who was walking slow on purpose. Suddenly, Kecleon stopped completely. Kal looked back to his Pok?mon. "You ok?" He asked. Kecleon had been worried all night but right now he looked terrified. "Let's just go into the store, it's right up there. Kecleon, there's no one here but us."
"I wouldn't be so sure if I were you." A gruff male voice taunted. "Don't turn around, kid. Hand over your Pok?mon and your bag." Kal had no idea what to do. He was being mugged on his first day. This was a stupid idea, he told himself. He should have listened to Kecleon. "You deaf?"
Kal was breathing heavily. He could feel Kecleon shaking beside him and the Pok?mon's grip was tighter than ever. There was one thing he could do, but it was risky. Slowly, he reached towards his belt and grabbed his Pok?Balls. Then, as fast as he could, he hurled the Pok?Balls at the ground, both bursting open and revealing his Pok?mon as well as catching the mugger off guard. "Kecleon, Slash!" Kal shouted. Kecleon was too scared to move. Kal's entire plan counted on Kecleon. "Slash!" Kal repeated, louder and more anxious. Kecleon still did nothing. Spinda and Surskit had taken form now, and were unaware of the situation. The mugger was raising a brow, a smirk displayed on his unshaven face.
"Nice try, kid." Kal's mugger laughed. "As much as I'm sure you'd love to think it, you don't have the upper hand here." He reached a hand into the black trenchcoat he was wearing and pulled it back out, PokeBall in hand. With a press of the center button the ball expanded and the mugger stepped back to allow room for whatever Pok?mon he was about to release. "Garchomp!"
The mugger hurled the ball towards the ground where it popped open and revealed the most terrifying Pok?mon Kal had ever seen. His jaw dropped at the sight of the land shark Pok?mon that he knew could rip apart his Pok?mon if it wanted to. And right now, it wanted to badly. "Hy-hypnosis!" Kal ordered to Spinda, his voice laced with fear.
"Sand Tomb!" The man shouted first. Garchomp thrust its hand to the ground and caused the cement underneath Spinda to turn to quicksand, trapping the spot panda. "You're only making this harder on yourself, kid..."
"BubbleBeam!" Kal ordered to an immobile Surskit. Surskit attempted to shoot a few bubbles at Garchomp but the Pok?mon pushed the attack aside with a wave of its hand. "Bind!" He shouted to Kecleon. Kecleon's tail shot at Garchomp and wrapped around it so that it was trapped. Garchomp screamed and struggled to get free but Kecleon held tight.
"This is pointless!" The man screamed, hand in a fist. Kal didn't care, he didn't plan on losing his Pok?mon tonight.
"Spinda," He said to the Pok?mon who was still trapped in quicksand. "Pretend you're in water, try to float!" He had heard somewhere that that was how you were supposed to get out of quicksand. Apparently it was true because in a matter of seconds Spinda was back on his feet. "Hypnosis!" He ordered again. This time, the attack met and both the attacker and his Garchomp were asleep.
Kal's heart was beating fast. Had he really just done what he had done? "Phew..." He said to his Pok?mon. "Let's get out of here before they wake up." He said as Kecleon retracted its tail and curled it back once more. He began to sprint, returning all but Spinda as he did so. Eventually, he was out of breath and in what appeared to be a parking lot. A car, no, a shuttle, was nearing and Kal quickly hopped out of the way to avoid being run over. Spinda, however, had other plans and hopped inside the shuttle as it came near. "Spinda, what are you doing?" He shouted to his Pok?mon as he watched it tug on someone's pants with a wide grin on its face. The shuttle stopped, apparently because this was where it had planned to anyways. Kal hopped aboard quickly and snatched up Spinda in his arms. "I'm so sorry," He said to the blonde, teenage girl his Spinda had been interested in.

Cairo laughed lightly to himself, arms folded as he sat with his legs outstreched. He laughed as a Spinda was taken into a trainer's arms after it had been darting around Jessica, throwing the occasional playful punch.
"Ha, its fine" Jessica said as she blushed slightly, rubbing the back of her head. As Jessica concluded she was thrown from her feet to the ground, as the train came to a skidding stop and the lights flickered until they diminished and left the car in darkness. Static noises sounded all over the train, until a rush of it overcame the intercom before a voice sounded harshly. "My men are scattered about the train, each of then armed appropriately..." The voice said calmly as Cairo looked around to a select few passengers, stripping themselves of street garments and revealing what looked through darkness to be jumpsuits baring the letter G, all of them brandishing PokéBalls. "You have ten seconds to organize a collected, calm line. I expect no resistance, or my men will be forced to step in" He concluded with light laughter before the speaker made a thunderous pop and sparked.
Cairo swallowed, hard and audibly before he saw a boy with blonde hair who stood to his feet, pointed at and denounced a member of the criminal team. "Get lost!" He screamed as his free hand tossed a Pokeball to the air and revealed a Monferno, poised for battle.
White teeth shown through the pitch darkness accompanied by laughter as three flashes of red light revealed a Garchomp, Golbat, and Drapion. Cairo watched as the boy ordered his Pokémon in vain. The fire-type was tossed around like a rag at the hands of the well trained Pokémon. "Chomp!" the Pokémon called triumphantly, sending the boy's beaten Pokémon careening to a wall where it collapsed to the ground unconscious.
"Anyone else?" Asked a criminal member arrogantly. Cairo cleared his throat with purposful clarity as he ascended to his feet, brandishing a Pokeball. "Marowak" He said as he smiled.

Kal's eyes widened as someone else challenged the criminals, sending out a Marowak as his choice. It looked as if this person was with the girl his Spinda had been annoying, as they were sitting next to each other and he had laughed when it happened. Three against one didn't seem very fair to Kal and he did something he knew he'd regret.
"Spinda!" He said, loud enough for the criminals to hear. Spinda jumped from his arms and took a battle position. The kid with the Marowak glanced over at Kal and smiled. The criminals smiled too, but in a more intimidating way. "Let's get Golbat," He said to his Pok?mon, knowing Spinda's Own Tempo ability would prevent Golbat from being able to confuse it, something Golbats loved to do. "Spinda, Psych up!"
Spinda smiled and appeared to be storing energy. He looked ready for battle. "Now, Secret Power!" Spinda looked around for a bit, trying to find something to use for the attack, but after finding nothing he attempted to ram into the Pok?mon.
"Poison Fang!" Spinda fell right for the attack. As the tiny spot panda tried to ram into the Golbat the flying type swerved and sunk its teeth into him. Spinda cried out in pain and it was evident that he'd been poisoned.
"Copy Cat!" Kal ordered. As Spinda fell to the ground he grabbed onto the Golbat's wing and lifted himself up until he had a clear shot at the Pok?mon's stomach. Spinda lunged, sinking his own teeth into Golbat and luckily poisoning him as well. He took damage from his poison, as did Golbat.
Kal figured it'd be a better idea to switch to Kecleon. He brought his hand to his belt before one of the members shouted, "Mean Look." There was nothing he could do now. Spinda was trapped and losing health. "Now, Haze!" A thick black haze erupted from Golbat's mouth, eliminating what Psych up had done.
"Psybeam!" Kal commanded. He didn't want Spinda to have to get close to Golbat, in case it might use Poison fang again. Spinda didn't feel as strong as before, and he was losing health from the poison, but he managed to clip Golbat's wing with his attack. Golbat winced in pain, both from his own poisoning and from the attack. "Again!"
"Dodge, then Wing Attack!" Golbat narrowly avoided Spinda's second attack and flew at it, wings glowing. The attack hit head on and Spinda went flying into a wall. After taking damage from the poison, Spinda slipped into unconsciousness.
Kallen was about to grab another Pokeball from his belt when suddenly, Golbat's eyes widened. A purple glow surrounded the Pok?mon and he was clearly in pain. Suddenly, he went slamming into the ground. Kal looked out the window and saw a pair of glowing eyes. There was the crashing sound of breaking glass and an odd looking Pok?mon appeared in front of Kallen, ready to battle. Kal whipped out his Pok?dex and listened to the automatic voice tell him about Drowzee.
"Poison Fang!" The criminal shouted to the weak Pok?mon.
"Disable!" Kal countered, reading off a move from the Pok?dex. A flash of light prevented Golbat's move from working. "Confusion!" The same purple glow from before surrounded Golbat and he was once again thrown to the ground. Drowzee looked to Kal, almost if asking if this was ok. Kal nodded before checking to see if the kid and his Marowak needed any help.

"Wak!" Marowak called mid battle as its bone landed firmly between Garchomp's eyes as he maneauvered his way toward Drapion, skull first. "Headbutt!" "X Scissor!" Cairo and a criminal called simultaneously, just however, as Marowak leapt from the direction of his returning bone. The maneauver allowed for the bone to snap against the X Scissor attack, and for Marowak to evade it.
The airborn ground type drew its head back before swinging with its full force, its body, putting all direction and concentration on the skull, which with audible fury, made contact with the injured cranium of a scorpionesque Pok?mon.
Marowak fell to the ground panting slightly, running back and forth evading various swipes from both Garchomp and Drapion. "Bonemerang!" Cairo called as Marowak whipped its bone to Garchomp's head after its balance was thrown off after missing an attack on the miniscule Pok?mon. "Head Butt!" He ordered after the bone had sent Garchomp's legs up from the ground and its head backward, providing an airborn, horizontal plane for Marowak's skull to send to the ground evenly. The ground beneath the falling Pok?mon gave out; the floor collapsed, and Garchomp was sent to the actual ground beneath the car, entangled in a clutter of metals.
Cairo considered ordering an Earthquake attack, but given types and the small environment he decided it'd be best to stick to smaller scale attacks. "Bone Cl-" he began before his lengthy thought processes came back to haunt him as Marowak was smashed by the glowing right claw of a certain Pok?mon and tossed to the wall of the subway car.

Jessica had enough of standing and hoping Cairo and this other boy would win. Granted, battling (despite her new-found desire to) wasn't her strong suit, the situation was dire. Given the space allowed for battle, Yuki was her best bet. "Help us, Yuki!" Jessica yelled as she tossed her Premier Ball((it was that, right?)). Soon enough, a slightly brighter than usual Glaceon was before Jessica. This reminded her: Lucario would've been better. But it was too late, and if instinct brought Yuki out, perhaps it was what was needed.
"Another one? Such resistance is new." The grunt mumbled. "Regardless... Drapion, Cross Poison!" Yuki, without Jessica's command, moved from the spot of the attack. It had dented the floor, surely it would've been painful. "Ice Beam!" Jessica shouted, simply off the top of her head. This had definitely caught her off guard. The attack hit, but seemed to do little. "Guh. Yuki, hit him with another one!" Jessica said, simply wanting this to end without any major problems. At least, more than the already caused ones. "X-Scissor!" The grunt commanded. Yuki, firing an Ice Beam that merely clipped the Pokémon's side, was hit. Not out, but most definitely not well. There wasn't much more Jessica could do, Yuki's other attacks wouldn't be too good for the other passengers. Except... "Iron Tail!" And with that, Yuki jumped, gathering every bit of strength she had. Her hardened tail met Drapion's head, causing it to wince in pain. It stood there, looking dazed, and not even a minute passed before it fell over. Spiral-eyed. Yuki, too, was exhausted, and thus returned. All of the grunts seemed to loose their confident smirks. "This... this won't be the last of us." One said. They left the compartment, and electricity returned to the shuttle.
"Don't they all say that?" Jessica said, annoyed. What a great way to come back to Sinnoh. Well, at least it was, for lack of better word, thrilling.

A few people got up to thank those that had battled, even the blonde kid with the odd Pok?mon Kal didn't recognize that had been beaten rather badly. "Hey," Kal said, turning to the two others that he had been battling alongside. "We should probably go see if everyone else is all right." He started to walk, the Drowzee following alongside before he turned back to them. "I'm Kallen, by the way." He shook hands with the boy, Cairo, and the girl, Jessica, before they moved to the other cart to check on everyone.
"Oh no..." Kal said, looking around. Trainers, as well as average citizens, lay knocked out on the floor. Empty purses and wallets were thrown across the floor and there was even some blood in places. The glass had been smashed, Pok?mon rested, beaten, on seats. Those that were coming into consciousness winced at the sight of the three of them and their Pok?mon. "It's ok," Kal assured them, "We're here to help."
---------------------------------------------------------------
"So they were on the train the whole time?" Officer Jenny asked, her final question. Kal nodded. "Well, thanks for all your help you guys. It's good to know there's people out there willing to help. Sure could use more people like you out there."
Now that everything was all settled, Kal decided this would be a good time to take care of some other things. He turned to Drowzee. "Thanks." He said to the Pok?mon. He grabbed an empty Pokeball from a pocket on his laptop case. Raising an eyebrow at the Pok?mon, he expanded the ball. Drowzee understood and smiled. The psychic type raised a hand and pressed the center button before becoming little more than red light and being sucked inside. The ball didn't shake at all and after a few moments Drowzee was caught. Kal decreased the ball's size and placed it next to Kecleon's pokeball on his belt.
"So," Kal said, turning to Cairo and Jessica. "Would it be ok if you guys maybe showed me the city a little bit?" He really needed someone to show him around and he figured these people were nice enough.

Jessica laughed slightly. "Well, in all honesty, I don't think I've been here for at least two years!" She explained. Looking around, there was a lot that was familiar, with an equal amount either foggy or new to her. She winked, and held it for the next sentence. "And exploring's no fun if you know the way!" Jessica took another survey of the area. She headed in one direction, only to stop to allow a car to rush past. "Heh, road..." She said, and walked back. "OK, well, I suppose now's a good time to say this. I'm Jessica Wyler, of Olivine City. A pleasure!" She said, formally bowing. With every passing second, Jessica could feel Sinnoh restoring her cheery and adventurous personality. And one thing was definitely different from last time: the temperature. It was notably colder, if that was possible in the already chilly Sinnoh.
Cairo introduced himself, and upon judging he was the most sensible and had the most knowledge of the city, he was chosen to lead the small group around. Small talk was scattered throughout the walk, as was a quick stop at a fountain. Cairo had gotten them to a Pokémon Centre quickly, and despite Jessica's occasional teases, she was glad to have a place to rest. Uncomfy aeroplane seats, thug run-ins, walking throughout a giant city... it was all quite tiring.
Jessica had walked up to the service counter, when she realised something that would be troublesome: her money amount was incredibly low. She couldn't have Cairo pay, this was her fault... And if Kal offered to pay, it just wouldn't be right to take a new face's money. "Uh, um... what're your room charges?" She asked the ever-smiling Nurse Joy. "Oh, it's nothing!" Joy paused to close her eyes, remaining smiling. "Free hospitality is our aim!" She added. "Cool. Well, could we get three rooms?" Jessica asked, voice showing obvious signs of relief. "Certainly!" Joy said, and quickly swiped three card-keys through a device attached to the computer. "Enjoy your stay!" Joy finished, handing the card-keys to Jessica.
After buying a bottled water from a nearby vending machine, Jessica returned to Cairo and Kal. "Here you go..." She handed Cairo his card, "And here you go!" She added, handing Kal his. "Well, I'm absolutely exhausted. G'night Cairo, nice meeting you, Kal." She finished. "Just before you head out... are you registering to go for the Sinnoh League?" Cairo asked. "You know it! But, er, in the morning. I can't push myself much longer. Sorry, and later!" She said. Cairo and Kal bid their good nights, and went off to do... well, whatever they currently felt like. Jessica, on the other hand, went to her room, fell into the bed, and almost instantly fell asleep. Oddly, the sun hadn't set yet, but at the moment she could hardly care less. There was a lot of stress to be killed in this hopefully long period of rest.

Cairo smiled and nodded as Jessica approached the stairwell. He turned to a window and tossed his har to one side of his face, out of his eyes, via a shake of his head. He liked the temperature in Sinnoh, he liked cooler weather in general. He had collected Marowak's Pokeball, and threw it to his side beside his other five Pok?Balls before he rolled his fingers along them.
He found a seat at a booth, looking to Sinnoh bathed in the illumination of the setting sun, shining in various hues of various colors. He sighed before smiling, and leaning back, arms crossed. "Finally" he admitted to himself before a presence took the spot in the booth adjacent to him, and across a table that sat between them. "Cairo, right?" Kallen asked as Cairo nodded, donning a smile, albeit a hardly noticable one. "I think I saw you compete in last year's Hoenn League" he offered as Cairo nodded further, "Yeah?" he asked rhetorically before posing a question of his own. "How long've you been a Pok?mon trainer?" Kallen smiled, "A few years, I'm fifteen" He informed Cairo, "From Sinnoh?" He asked without recollecting Kallen's lack of knowledge of the region, "Nope. Originally from Blackthorn City, Johto. But I moved to Hoenn when I was eight" He added as Cairo's eyes grew slightly larger, "Yeah, where from?" He asked before Kallen replied, "Fallarbor town." "Cool" Cairo responded, "I'm from Oldale town" He said before Kallen inquired, "So you've been to Sinnoh before, right? Like that Jessica said?" "Mhm, I've got three badges. Plan to get five more before the Sinnoh League conference" Cairo said with a smile.
A moment of silence loomed before Cairo's head tilted downward. He thought to Alison, to Kyleigh, to Chad and to Atticus. Even Lily West, whoever he remembered that to be. Among other faces that had become Cairo's most immediate bank of memories. "Well I'm gonna go for a walk" Cairo said, welcoming to Kallen to come, though he was politely denied. "Suit yourself" Cairo said.
Through sliding doors, and sunset dipped, cobblestone streets that served as the ground floor of a bustling city, Cairo made his was to the ostentatious gates of the Hearthome Amity Square. He remembered being here a few times before. "Ahem" announced an older woman before Cairo realized he hadn't drawn a Pok?mon to his side. Mawile came out last he knew, "Beautifly, Mawile" He called as two Pok?mon emerged from their respective Pok?Balls that erupted into a typically magnificent flood of luminescence. "Mmm, alright then." She admitted Cairo to the park, perhaps because she was tired, he didn't really care what the reason was as he found himself and his Pok?mon striding through the upkept grass of a park where classical music flooded his periphery. "Up there, guys, you remember that?" He asked, pointing to a familiar pond. Mawile bore a startlingly large grin before tripping her clumsy self toward the water, while an effervescent Beautifly batted her way at a similar pace.
Cairo shook his head for a moment before allowing a decent smile as well, then coaxing himself into laughs and sprints toward the glistening water under was what swiftly becoming a night sky.
He was back to the world he loved, for sure.

"I wonder if all of Sinnoh's this cold..." Kal said to Kecleon, who was obviously as chilly as he was. Being cold blooded, Kecleon wasn't taking well to this new region and he had wrapped all the blankets in the room around himself. Surskit and Spinda didn't seem to mind and they were having a playful fight in the middle of the small room. Being free, the room obviously wasn't that great and it stunk slightly. Kal was trying to avoid a brown stain that took up most of the bed. "Let's check on the money status," He said to Drowzee.
Kal was pleased with the newest edition to Team Kallen, as Drowzee seemed to get along with all his Pok?mon nicely. He had a reasurring attitude that helped Surskit out when she was scared, Kal liked that. "Yikes, not much money." He said, putting away his Pok?dex which stored his currency. "Looks like we're gonna have to win a few battles if we wanna buy any souveniers." He shivered and continued the search through his bag for a sweatshirt that he had started a while ago. "I can't believe I forgot to pack one." He decided, giving up the search.
Kallen stood and Kecleon took his spot on the bed. "I'm going out," He told his Pok?mon. He had plans of purchasing some new clothing. "Who wants to come with me?" Spinda and Surskit seemed too busy to care and Kecleon was way too cold to go out again. Drowzee, however, was up for a walk. "Be back in a bit." Kal announced to the others as he and his newest Pok?mon left the room.
There were so many stores Kal wanted to go into he figured he could stay here all night, but he was still a bit chilly so he wanted to get back to the warmer room quickly. Drowzee attracted a few odd looks from those passing by and Kal figured they weren't native to Sinnoh. After whipping out his trusty Pok?dex once more, he reread that they were actually from Kanto. "Cool." He said, having never visited Kanto himself. "Maybe one day we'll go there." He added, smiling to Drowzee. "Oh, this looks good!"
Kal entered the store, named 'Location Hoenn', figuring he could find something he liked that might remind him of home. What he got was more than he had hoped for. "Look at this!" Kal nearly screamed to Drowzee as he noticed a green Spinda sweatshirt. "So cool," He muttered, quickly finding his size. Drowzee raised a brow at Kal's choice and smiled to himself. "This is perfect!" Kal almost screamed once again. They had clothing specifically made for Kecleons. Kal purchased a scarf, gloves, a Kecleon sweater and a knitted hat for Kecleon. All were green and yellow, and the scarf was striped with both. He felt bad buying stuff for his other Pok?mon in the presence of Drowzee and almost considered buying him a necklace before realizing the Psychic type didn't have much of a neck. He settled on a pair of yellow metal bracelettes that Drowzee seemed to like. He also found a few odd Pok?Balls that he liked, Premier, luxury, dive, net, and he ended up buying those too.
"Um, any idea how to get back to the room?" Kal asked, holding the back containing all he had just bought, minus the sweatshirt, which he was wearing. Drowzee said nothing. Kal, not wanting to get mugged again, placed the shopping bags into his laptop case and whipped out a pokeball from his pocket. "This is why I love Pok?Balls." He said to Drowzee, aiming the ball at his bag and returning it in a flash of red. He had caught his bag a long time ago when practicing his aim with his Pok?Balls and he had never regretted that moment. Decreasing the ball, he attached it to his belt and carried on. "I'm sure we'll find the place eventually," Kal asured Drowzee who didn't seem to really care that they were lost.

Jessica woke up. However, it was still dark. She checked the room's clock, lit in red LCD. "1:18... AM. Oh, the problems with going to sleep early." Jessica moaned, stretching. She had the strongest feeling she wouldn't be falling back asleep.
Looking out the window, Jessica spotted a convenience store. And, the sign clearly read "OPEN 24 HOURS". Jessica was already fully dressed, for she had yet again forgotten her pyjamas. "Well, I guess I'm off." She whispered to herself. She grabbed her card-key off of the table within the room, and crept out and into the city.
Oddly enough, several cars could still be heard. Regardless, roads were much easier to cross, and Jessica made it to the convenience store before even ten minutes had passed. The cool weather... it felt nice, but still a bit cold to a beach-born person like her. Once inside, it was pleasantly warm. There were very few others inside, and hardly any check-out aisles were open. But, there were some, and Jessica didn't need much... let alone could she afford much.
"Heh, these seem nice." Jessica said, sorting through a few hoodies on a round clothes rack. Finding one of a light-toned purple she fancied, she went off to find pants better suited for Sinnoh. And there were lots. Track pants, snow pants, jeans, anything... They had it all. Even thinner pants were made of dense (or otherwise warming) material. Jessica naturally skipped the jeans, she never favoured them... just uncomfortable to her. Due to impractibility and a poor selection, she also skipped the skirts. So, she settled on track pants. Not to hot in the warmer areas of Sinnoh, not too cold in the north. And, of course, great for running around Mt. Coronet... but that would be later. Seeing as it was already very late, and as an almost-fifteen-year-old, she could've been an easy target for the, uh, unpleasant people of Hearthome. So she shifted through them quickly, barely giving any more than a second's glance, before finding one of her style. "Perfect." She said, quickly scanning them. They were black, dark grey stripes down the sides. On the bottom of the left leg, a flower pattern (Shaymin's flower) was sewn in, bottom cut off by the end of the pant leg. Putting them on the hoodie already in her arms, she took the quickest look she could at accessories. "Hmmm..." She said, actually taking some time to look. There were belts, chains, gloves, hats... Lots to choose from, basically. She settled on a midnight purple PokéBelt (hammerspace wasn't as instant, after all), black, blue, and purple finglerlesd gloves that extended past the wrist some (think Selena Gomez). Then, she got her money out, and went to a register. Only one was open. Without much hassle, or even a friendly conversation, she bought her stuff and was out of there. She snuck to her room, and placed the bag of clothes by the bed. She still wasn't tired in the slightest, so she turned on the television. "And a young boy was mu--" The TV began, cut off by Jessica's quick sentence. "Oh, the news. Not too boring. I bet nothing else is on." She said. Finding a relaxed position, she watched on. Well, at least she'd catch up on Sinnoh. After all, a re-run of a recent 'Sinnoh Now!' was due after this.

"Um," Kal said to Drowzee. He wasn't as happy as he'd been a minute ago. "We're lost." He stated, poking his head around a corner and finding more buildings that weren't the one he was looking for. He was tired and he just wanted to get some sleep. He was also a little scared after his incident out alone before. And now it was really dark out. He passed by a club and considered going in to rest for a while before he saw a fight break out near the door. Kallen moved closer to Drowzee.
"We'll find our way back." He declared, not really believing his own words. "I hope..." He could see Drowzee was growing bored and tired as well, for the Pok?mon was clacking his new yellow metal wristbands together in a way that reminded Kal of a bad habit his sister had. "All right, we'll just find a map of.." He quickly remembered what happens to those that bring out maps at night in cities and shot that idea down. "Um... We'll just... Uh..." He really didn't know what to do.
Drowzee started to walk ahead and Kallen took the hint that it was probably a bad idea to just stand around in an unfamiliar city. A woman passed and Kal tried to ask her for directions but she blatantly ignored him. Kal knew Sinnoh people were a bit stuck up but when he tried to ask three more people and they gave him silent answers as well he started to regret coming to this region. "I hate this place..."
Kal's gait had become nothing more than a shuffling of feet and his eyelids were about to collapse when he eventually saw a semi inviting place. A park. He and Drowzee walked up to the woman that allowed park goers to go in and she told him he was going to have to return his Drowzee. "O.." He stopped to yawn midsentence. "..k.." He returned Drowzee, too tired to even think that he wouldn't want to be alone, and entered Amity Square.
The park was nice looking and pretty empty at this time of night so Kal quickly found a soft patch of grass behind a large oak tree and started to close his eyes when something knocked the sleep right out of him. Behind the oak a phone was ringing and he suddenly heard a familiar voice pick it up. "Cairo!?" Kal asked excitedly, running around the side of the tree and seeing his new friend on the phone. Cairo raised a brow and pulled the phone down to his chest, blocking the speaker part.
"Kal... What are you doing here?" Cairo asked. Kal started to shake his head, still smiling that he had found Cairo and not been forced to resort to sleeping in the park. ' "Getting lost." He responded. "Do you know the way back to that place we're staying at?" He then remembered the phone call and quickly stopped talking.

The news had become boring. So had any other show, and the sun had begun rising. So, what's better to do than randomly watch videos? Jessica thought so, and the last couple of hours were spent on a video sharing site. Several random things caught her interest: pictures of feline Pokémon with humourous captions, a Mightyena that could roughly bark out "Ri ove oo!", and a few music videos. All oddly interesting to her... yet not enough. And it was 6:43AM. 'I've been up that long?!' She thought to herself.
Figuring it'd be fine, Jessica found her way into the lobby. Hardly anyone else was up, mostly just the elderly (who would go to bed earlier, thus waking up earlier). Of course, Joy was up, typing a few things into her computer, and greeting Jessica with a 'Good morning!'. Jessica, of course, replied with the same comment, and headed to an area seemingly designed especially for breakfast. "Coffee, coffee, coffee... Ugh." She whispered to herself. Finally, she found a machine which also offered hot chocolate. Wasn't her favourite, but would suffice. Especially coupled with a walk in the cool Sinnoh morning. Grabbing a warm croissant, Jessica decided just that, and made her way onto the Hearthome streets.
Again, there were quite a few cars. But, it was a bit more reasonable, there was school and work to get to. Jessica made sure to remember every turn she made, yet once she decided to head back... she was lost. "Gah! This city's far too large!" Jessica complained. She had to stop at a, wouldn't you know it, coffee place to sit down and get some directions. She had found her mistake, too. One left turn! She felt so stupid, and went out into the city once more. She wasn't going to leave by herself for quite some time...

"I'm not entirely sure" Cairo spoke into the receiving end of the device that emitted a green light through darkness. Faint murmurs erupted from the other end for several moments before Cairo spoke, "Hearthome City..." he spoke again, "...For a bit, just let me know. Gimme a call or something" he said as he cracked faint smile, "Alright, you too. Bye, Hopper" he concluded before folding the device shut, and diminishing that light.
"Sorry" he told Kal as a small Pok?mon rushed to the trainer, smiling and making spradic squeaking sounds atop pants before leaping into Cairo's lap, surprising him slightly. "WOah" he said as his body conformed to catch Mawile, "You're excited" he said as the Pok?mon threw its arms around Cairo's torso and nuzzled him softly. Cairo laughed lightly before Beautifly too, landed with audible flutters accompanying its motions, atop his head. Cairo sort of expected that one though. He threw his arms around Mawile before saying to Kallen, "So, what now?"
Kallen laughed and shook his head before taking a seat beside Cairo, "they like you" he said. "Been with them through...everything" Cairo said, looking to Mawile, closing her eyes as he pet her softly, "See. I don't have any other Pok?mon than the one's I carry on me. Not like most trainers who have their PC's bursting with Pok?Balls." Kallen nodded, "I just...it's not like I don't think it's fair to Pok?mon, I really don't care all that much, it's just. I couldn't part with these guys if I wanted to." He said, staring at his Pok?mon.
Cairo and Kallen got to talking about one another's Pok?mon, their journies thus far. About Kyleigh, Alison, Lily, Sarah, Chad, Dani, especially Dani, everyone and everything really. Before they knew it, sun was cracking on the horizon, Mawile was asleep in Cairo's arms, and Beautifly in a similar state atop his head. In fact, the only thing that really even made them recognize what time it was, was what sounded like a lot of commotion in town, and as Cairo stood, he could see out the gates of Amity Square, and thought he saw a familiar face.
"Jessica?" He called to the girl who was walking out of what looked like a nearby coffee shop.
