"Call me a romantic sucker... But perhaps Pride & Prejudice, the newer one with Keira Knightley?" Jessica said, rather nervously. Her friends looked at her oddly, seeming as they were about to burst out laughing. And they did. "Oh, shut up." Jessica said, playfully, as Atticus selected another movie. They watched through, in general silence, talking when something eventful would happen. Oddly, the movie went undisturbed, but maybe that was because it'd take the whole length of the movie just to get to the room. "Heh, that was pretty good." Jessica said. She got a couple quick playful glares, causing Jessica to repeat herself in a similar manner then before. "Shut up." She then threw a pillow, not really at anyone, but out there. Then she jumped up, bouncing a little due to the bed. "Pillow fight!" Jessica declared, childishly, throwing another pillow. "If we got involved, wouldn't it be a bit g--" Cairo whispered to Atticus, but was interrupted by yet another pillow soaring by. "Oh, whatever." Atticus said. Oddly enough, even after quite a bit of rough play, no pillows were destroyed, or even ripped. Jessica was gasping at the end, and Yuki seemed to enjoy hitting the pillows with her tail. After awhile, when Yuki would hit the pillows, her tail would glow a metallic silver. "Heh, cool, Iron Tail." Jessica gasped, petting Yuki. "So, what else can you do now?" Jessica said, tossing a pillow. Yuki shot a beam of ice from her mouth, freezing the pillow and sending it crashing to the ground. "Oh... Uh, oops, sorry." Jessica said. "Maybe I'll test the rest of her new moves outside..." Jessica finished, and giggled a little as she dropped down to Yuki's side and hugged her.
OOC: Like Jessica said. Shut up.

"Woah, cool." Atticus said, tapping the frozen pillow with his foot. "Literally." Cairo joked. Atticus glanced at him, one eyebrow raised and the other resting just above his eye. "Uh, sorry..." Cairo apologized, looking away. Atticus laughed and focused once more on the pillow. "I'm gonna keep it." He declared, "I'll get another pillow while I put this one in the freezer. Atticus quickly exited the room, exchanged pillows, and headed back. When he returned to his room he spotted a familiar Pokémon walking down just ahead of him. "Hi Archy!" Atticus said to the fairly large Arcanine who was owned by his family. "It's been too long." He said, smiling as he and Archy entered the room.

Cairo had taken to the bathroom while Atticus left to maintain the status of his, now frozen, pillow. He had showered, brushed his teeth and changed, into plaid pajama pants, and a white t shirt with one large yellow stripe across the chest. "Well, I guess..." Cairo reasoned as he exited the bathroom, and drew a Pokeball from his belt, "I can leave you over here" he said to himself as he placed Squirtles Pokeball beside his mattress, on the side he would be sleeping on. Atticus still hadn't returned, but he reasoned he wouldn't mind if he used his computer which, given the affluent air around the house, he assumed would have Pok?mon storage capabilites. He accessed a program, and after providing the correct username and password, Cairo had access to all things stored virtually, and he withdrew a Pokeball which he felt bad for storing in the first place. He closed the program, and logged off, before he reached for a Pokeball that had materialized in a small port beside the computer. "Mawile, come out" He called as he stood up from the chair.
Mawile materialized on the carpet, before immediately sprinting to her trainer and latching itself to his leg, growing tighter every moment, "I missed you too, Mawile" Cairo said before leaning over and picking up his Pok?mon, then cradling it in his arms. "I promise that won't happen again, you can stay outta your Pokeball tonight" He said as Mawile looked up to him, at first looking stern, before smiling wide and hitting Cairo playfully with her horns atop his head. "Ow" He said as he laughed and rubbed his head with one free arm. "You're lame" he said to his Pok?mon who writhed about in his arms happily before he walked himself and Mawile to his side of one of the mattresses.
He leapt to the mattress with a cheering Mawile, landing comfortably beside Alison who shook her head as she smiled. "Hah, Maw-" he began before an Arcanine entered the room. "What the?" He inquired to himself, aloud before he saw Atticus conversing with it, entering the room behind the Pok?mon.

"Don't come over here." Atticus warned as he rounded a corner to where his dresser was and began to change into his pajamas, the Unown ones. He ran to the bathroom where he very quickly brushed his teeth, figuring he would shower in the morning. After doing so, he went over to the computer Cairo had just been using. He withdrew two Pok?Balls, Machamp's and Swalot's. He held onto Machamp's pokeball, wanting to show his friends his mother's soon to be new Pok?mon. With Swalot's pokeball, he sent out the Pok?mon. He had been in storage for a while now and Atticus figured it would be better if Swalot stayed at the house for now, rather than inside a computer. He sent out his other Pok?mon as well, his room was big enough to house them all. He removed his pokebelt, which was the only part of his regular outfit he still had on. Before he joined his friends over where their pillow nest was, he made a trip to the touch screen computer which had activated the laser tag. This time, after pressing a few buttons, he set the mood to 'Tired'. The lights dimmed down and soft, relaxing music played rather silently throughout the room. In about an hour or two the music would switch to a Lullaby sang by a Jigglypuff, which would cause everyone to fall asleep. "You guys wanna see what I caught for my mom?" Atticus asked, tossing the pokeball in his hand up and catching it again. "Sure." They answered. "Alright." He said, aiming the ball away from everyone. "Go!" He said, causing the pokeball to open and hurl a bright white light from somewhere inside. The light took the form of Atticus's newly caught Machamp who seemed angry and confused. He looked to the trainers, and then to Atticus and started to make a run for it. "Return!" Atticus said, aiming the pokeball at Machamp and just barely managing to hit it with the retracting red light before it got to the stairs. Machamp roared as he was returned and Atticus felt quite pleased with himself. "Nice. Whose Arcanine is that?" Cairo asked, pointing to Archy, who was approaching Atticus playfully. "Oh." Atticus said. "He's practically mine, he belongs to my family though. I was the one who played with him most when he was a Growlithe and I was the only one there when he evolved. When I left for my journey my parents wouldn't let me take him though. His name's Archy." Atticus reached over and pet Archy on the head. Seeing this, Togetic flew over and landed near Atticus's feet, not wanting anyone else to get more attention then her. Atticus layed down on one of the air matresses, holding Togetic and he rested his back on Archy who had just taken a seat behind him.

Jessica came up to the Arcanine, and began petting him. "How cute... And cool, I guess." Jessica said, smiling. Suddenly, the lights went much dimmer. "Eh?" Jessica said, looking around. Atticus was dashing for his bed. "Hurry, get to your bed!" He said, barely getting to his own. "Er, wh--" Jessica began. A Jigglypuff song started over the intricate sound system, putting all Pokémon and people into a state of drowsiness. "Oh... cráp..." Jessica mumbled, as she drifted into unprepared sleep, draped over Archy, who had also been put to sleep.

Atticus awoke to his favorite song, playing on his alarm clock which set itself automatically when he pressed 'Tired' mode. He had his back resting against Archy which he thought was weird seeing as he hadn't been anywhere near Archy when Jigglypuff's song had started playing. What was even weirder was the fact that Jessica was lying on top of him. Atticus wasn't sure what to do, if he moved Jessica she might wake up and think for whatever reason he slid under her. If he did nothing, and Jessica woke up and noticed he had done nothing then he would just seem weird. Instead, he ended up thinking of why Jessica would be on top of him. And then he realized it. Pok?mon, like Archy, awoke from the Jigglypuff induced slumber quicker than humans, usually after only a few minutes. Archy must have wanted to be closer to Atticus and had moved when he woke up, dragging Jessica along with him and accidently leaving her on Atticus's stomach. Atticus decided he was going to move Jessica. Slowly, he slid his hand behind Jessica's back and began to push her upward. Suddenly, she gave a jolt and awoke. Atticus stared at her awkwardly. "Morning..." He said, blushing as he looked to her confused and tired face.

Cairo woke, hands wrapped around Alison, with Mawile slipped between them, horns wrapped around the back of Cairo's head. He struggled with his muscles for a moment before he finally forced himself upward. He stood, and streched his arms as he yawned loudly. He smiled, looking down to Alison before he leaned to her head where he kissed her lightly, so as not to wake her. He decided to leave Mawile as well, but upon making the decision and looking back, he had noticed she was no longer sleeping. She was standing by Cairo's side, looking to his face with a ridiculous grin about her face as Cairo shook his head, "You are my weirdest Pok?mon" he offered, squatting slightly to pet her head.
"Morning" he heard Atticus say. He assumed his friend was talking to him, but as he turned and started, "H-" he saw Jessica, blushing and laying atop his friend. "Haha" he laughed as he approached the two, and Atticus instinctively rolled, throwing Jessica to the ground with a 'THUD'. "Oh, Sorry!" Atticus said immediately to Jessica, who rolled her eyes while Cairo and Mawile began laughing hysterically. "Shut up" Atticus offered to Cairo and Mawile who continued to laugh uncontrollably, "are you alright?" Atticus asked, offering Jessica his hand as they stood. She rubbed the back of her head, before she found herself, and likewise for Atticus, lost in one another's eyes. "Uhh" Cairo began prior to looking down to his Pok?mon, "Maybe we should go" he said as Mawile threw her hands to her hips, "Maw-maw-Wile" she offered, shaking her head, to which Cairo responded, "Yeah right" and began walking toward the bathroom, bag in hand, alongside Mawile, "Maw Wile!" She retorted before shoving Cairo at his legs, sending his balance off slightly, "You shut up!" he offered, in addition to offering payback via lightly and playfully kicking his Pok?mon, sending her off balance similarly before they both began laughing once more.
The bathroom door shut, Alison still lay asleep, and Jessica and Atticus had yet to take their eyes off one another. "Ahhh..ha" They offered simultaneously, blushing.

Jessica and Atticus were finally able to break their gazes after Archy nudged Atticus rather hard in the side. Both blushsd immensely, and looked away, trying to find excuses to explain it. "Right, right, Archy, I guess you must be hungry." Atticus said, leading the large Pokémon off a ways. Jessica then made her way to one of the many unoccupied washrooms, and prepared herself for another hopefully eventful day. When she was done, she came back to the room to see the full cast of her friends. Atticus was walking towards the others with Archy, Alison just waking up, and Cairo returning from a seemingly similar situation as Jessica. "Heh, good morning all." Jessica said, still sounding a bit tired. Atticus and Alison then went to two of the washrooms to complete their morning habits, leaving Jessica, Cairo, Mawhile and Archy. "So, er, we face Surge today, correct?" Jessica said, sitting on one of the mattresses still sprawled out on the floor. "Seems like it." Cairo offered, remaining standing with Mawhile. "Together again?" Jessica said. She then realised what this could've meant, and quickly corrected herself. "I mean, for the battle." She finished, hastily.

Cairo smiled and slanted confident eyebrows downward, "You bet" he offered as he nodded, throwing one hand to Jessica's shoulder before she too smiled, and nodded confirmingly. "Hey you two lovers" Alison said, accompanied by a laughing Atticus as they appraoched their friends, "Shut up" Jessica and Cairo said through laughter. Cairo ascended to his feet, bones cracking, and then stretching. He extended his arms, and peaked his head, looking almost, self-absorbed before Alison rolled her eyes and threw her arms under Cairo's and around him. He hugged his girlfriend tightly, kissing her once lightly as she looked up to him, endearingly. "Hey Atticus" he said, at first still looking to Alison before turning his head to Atticus, "Yeah?" he asked, "Today, is your mother's birthday..?" Cairo inquired, looking back to Alison for a moment, startled slightly as he saw Mawile perched atop one of Alison's shoulders, smiling to its trainer.

Atticus squeezed some of the water out of his damp, black hair. "Yep. I don't doubt there's a large breakfast upstairs, the cooks always do stuff like that for birthdays and such." He grabbed a few Pok?Balls from his belt and looked around for some Pok?mon to return. Not being able to locate any of his Pok?mon, he ended up just putting the Pok?Balls back on his belt. "Let's go up to breakfast, we'll wanna eat a lot now so later at the party we don't have to keep sneeking for food." He began to walk before Cairo questioned, "What party?" Atticus realized he had forgot to mention it. "Oh, well it's my Mom's birthday so I'm assuming there's going to be a big party here tonight like always." Archy nudged up against Atticus, wanting to be pet. Absently, Atticus did so before his friends shrugged and they began to ascend the stairs. As they made their way to the dining room Atticus heard a familiar voice. "Hey Atticus, back home I see." It was Patricia, one of the female helpers that worked around the house with various tasks. "Hah, yeah. For now anyways, y'know it being my mom's birthday and all. Plus we were planning on going to that Toge Festival." Patrica smiled friendly-like at the others before turning back to Atticus. "So I'm assuming that Togetic is yours?" Atticus nodded. "Yep, any idea where she is?" Patricia tapped her chin and glanced diagonally upward as she thought about it. "Well, she was in the kitchen this morning and I think someone may have let her out into the garden to play with some of the other Pok?mon." "All right, thanks." Atticus said as he and the others started to walk away. "I can get her, if you want." Patricia offered. Atticus waved his hands in front of him. "Nah, it's fine. We'll just go out into the garden after breakfast." He turned back around and began walking again until they made it into the dining room. A large table was set with various delicious looking foods. His mother sat at the head of the table, politely wiping her face with a napkin. She looked up at everyone but said nothing as they took seats at the large, rectangular table. "Help yourself." Atticus said as he selected a few chocolate chip muffins from a basket in front of him. He poured himself a glass of orange juice and when one of the cooks came by he politely asked if he could have an omelette.

"Hmmm..." Jessica mumbled, wondering what to eat. There was an abundance, but she still couldn't decide. She finally made up her mind, and had a simple arrangement of a couple kaiser rolls, both covered in a hazelnut-chocolate spread, a croissant, and a simple glass of milk. "Heh, I like it simple." Jessica said to her friends, who seemed a bit off due to Jessica's relatively regular choices of food. But then it hit Jessica once she saw Atticus' mother... She hadn't really caught anything for her. Granted, she had managed to catch an Azurill, but it was far too cute and seemed to have great potential. But, then again, Jessica didn't want to be selfish. Once more, Jessica's other half combated, and told her that Atticus' mother had plenty enough already. Jessica kept thinking on the subject, not realising she had eaten all her food and missed a couple conversations. "Oh, uh, hope you don't mind, but I need to step out a bit." Jessica said, standing up and pushing in her chair. "But don't worry... I won't be long, and I'm sure the results will be good!" Jessica finished. She, after trying hard to remember the way, made it out of the house, and back outside. She found hersekf at the harbour, a perfect place for her idea. "Azurill!" Jessica called, tossing a PokéBall. The small Pokémon appeared in a flash of light, and smiled slightly, tugging at Jessica's heart. "Oh... You're so cute. And wait! I haven't named you yet!" Jessica said, bending down close to Azurill. "I think--" Jessica started, but was interrupted by a large splash in the water. "Hera!" A star shaped Pokémon cried, twirling in the air. "A Staryu?! Perfect!" Jessica said, pulling out another ball, but this one a bit different; a Net Ball. "I think she'd love this one!" Jessica said, tossing the Net Ball. After a net-like flash of light, the Staryu was absorbed into the ball. It fell, and into the water. "Oh cráp..." Jessica said. However, there were slight ripples, which, at one point, came to a stop. A thin light soared through the air directly upwards, signifying a successful capture that was being transferred to the PC. "Perfect." Jessica said, and smiled. She quickly made her way back to the house, and after some hassle from the security system (which Atticus had to come outside to help with), she was back in. Jessica made the rather long dash to Atticus' room, because if she withdrew the ball from her laptop, it'd be in front of others and rather obvious. She swapped Azurill's ball for Staryu's, and joined the others in one of the living rooms. "Good God, just running around this place could be a great workout!" Jessica joked, panting and falling into a large, rather comfortable couch.

Cairo had returned Mawile, he knew it was somewhat rude to leave out a Pok?mon in this situation. He also rolled another, decreased Pokeball through the fingers of the hand that sat beneath the table as he ate, one that would not fit on his belt. He did like his Squirtle quite a bit, but he reasoned he could come back and see it sometime, and none of his Pok?mon regularaly enjoyed going unreleased from their Pokeball, so having seven Pok?mon really wouldn't work out. "Umm, Mrs. Dosser?" Cairo began as she looked up from her food, "Oh, yes?" She inquired to Cairo before he concluded, "Evidently, it's your birthday today, just wanted to wish you a happy one." Atticus' mother smiled slightly, "Why, thank you, dear" She offered before taking back into her food. "No one's parents ever like me.." Cairo reasoned, looking down and blushing slightly.

"Yeah." Atticus said, swallowing a mouthfull of food. "Happy birthday." He was done with his food so he picked up his plate and took it into the kitchen where he found Exeggutor watching the cooks and apparently getting in the way. He put his plate down near the sink where it was snatched up right away and then grabbed a pokeball from his belt. "Return, please." He said as he aimed it at Exeggutor. One person had to dodge out of the way of the red beam of light that shot from the pokeball but it ended up hitting Exeggutor and returning him. Alison, Cairo and Jessica soon joined Atticus in the kitchen and, after handing their plates and glasses to the person who was cleaning the dishes, they took off to the garden.
Atticus opened the double doors which led to the garden. All sorts of plants, trees and Pok?mon occupied the garden. It was a beautiful, natural looking sight. Archy bumped into Atticus as he walked out of the door and into the garden to lie down. Atticus spotted Togetic resting on the branch of a magnolia, asleep. "Return." He said quietly as he retracted Togetic via a red beam of light.

"Such a nice garden." Jessica commented, looking at the serene area that covered almost as far as the eye could see. A mixture of trees, bushes, and flowers made a vivid rainbow, with several pleasant aromas wafting through the air. The various Grass-types were pleasant as well. "Fleur would enjoy this... You, uh, don't mind, do you?" Jessica said. "Not a problem." Atticus replied, and soon the large Grass-type joined the many others outside. After a relatively calm walk through much of the garden, Jessica made sure no windows would be able to see them, at least clearly. "Oh, and Atticus..." Jessica said, pulling out a Net Ball. "You think your mother will like a Staryu?" She finished, and tossed the ball, revealing the star shaped Pokémon.

Cairo strode through the garden, along the left side of a huge fountain that towered water above the trainers, alongside Alison whereas Atticus and Jessica had almost unknwoingly taken to the opposite side, down a different path. His footsteps ran along cobblestone, guiding him through amazing foliage that sourrounded him, for a moment, he event thought he could make out distant classical music playing lightly. "Marowak" Cairo said as he smiled, throwing a Pokeball to the air, glistening in sun beams and raining down white light that, as he caught the descending Pokeball, formed into his partner. "Look at this place" He said, addressing Marowak, but head not leaving the scenery. "Woah" Cairo said, looking down to a Turtwig that approached Marowak and began conversing with it. He looked questionably for a moment before shurgging and smiling to Alison, who looked as content as Cairo did. "We're pretty lucky...as fas as trainers go" he said amidst the scenery that instilled almost the same feeling as the proverbial summer evening.
