1. Unless they're your character for the battle, pets are controlled by the Computer/Game Master if your character doesn't use their action giving commands. In other words, they can act on their own. 2. Unless otherwise specified, you're only allowed one pet per battle. 3. Pets start out MIA. Pets can be called in or recalled (returned to MIA) at any time as an action for the character that owns them. 4. Pets don't count towards win/loss conditions. 5. Pets' classes, equipment, and stats cannot be changed by the player. 6. Pok?Balls don't work in Rift Stadium without a Snag Machine. Snag Machines can be deactivated remotely and en masse by the referee. 7. Some enemies will have anti-Snagging measures, especially if they're important. 8. Capturing an enemy in a PokeBall is the same as defeating it for purposes of battle. However, no one gains money or experience for it.
