OOC: Here's Jessica's entry into the Grand Festival, and why she doesn't like thinking about it.
__The stadium was actually calm, for some time anyways. Vivan then ran onto the stage, and the entire stadium was filled with roaring cheers. She announced the basic stuff about the Grand Festival, how all the co-ordinators participating were special, basic beginning to any contest. She then announced the first co-ordinator. She went, and did amazing. Another one went, and another, and another. Jessica stood, eyes closed and breath drawn. Her time was coming, and coming fast. Finally, Vivan announced "Jessica Wyler from Olivine City!" Jessica let her breath go, and she rushed out to the stage. She was garbed in a rather fancy dress, frilled from the waist down. She had a rather large ribbon tied around her waist, and both the ribbon and the dress were a light shade of pink. After what seemed like an eternity, Jessica reached the stage, and was met with a roar of cheers, but not as loud as any of the other co-ordinator's, or even Vivan's.
__"Fleur, center stage!" Jessica called, tossing a PokeBall at very high speed towards the middle of the stage. With a flash of brilliant white light, a Meganium appeared. "Ready, Fleur? Time for Sunny Day!" Jessica called, and from Fleur shot a beam of light, straight for the sun, and bright sunshine filled the entire stadium, causing everything to appear glowing gold. "Now, Stun Spore!" Jessica commanded, and was met by a huge cloud of yellow powder-like matter filling the air, with a mysterious glow caused by the sunshine. "Petal Dance!" Jessica yelled, this time resulting in a blast of pink petals swirling around, breaking the cloud of Stun Spore, and causing a light glittering effect to fill the stadium, and it was majorily focused on the spiral of airborne petals. "Finish up with SolarBeam!" Jessica called, and a huge beam of a golden yellow was shot straight for the sky, and the petals and Stun Spore spiraled around it brilliantly. The beam faded out, and the sparkling petals fell all around the the stadium. Jessica curtsied, recalled Fleur, and dashed off the stage back through the tunnel.
__Several more co-ordinator's performed, and finally the last one went. After a bit, Vivan was back to center-stage, and was pointing to the huge screen at one end of the stadium. "And here are the lucky co-ordinators moving onto the next round!" Several faces appeared on screen, but not Jessica's. Two more spots were left. And that second-to-last spot was filled by Jessica. She sighed heavily, and closed her eyes. Her potentially life-changing event was coming up, and there was only an hour before they would start the second round.
__That hour may as well have been ten minutes, because it seemed as soon as Jessica was finally relaxed, it was time again for the second round. A few battles went on before Jessica's, the stadium could only hold so many events at once. Only a few left, though. She waited, staring at the screen, seeing some people have their dreams crushed, some with theirs becoming more and more realistic. Finally she and another female co-ordinator were called to the stage...
